PAASPERTUTTI – a link for reception and immigration
In 2007 the Comunità Montana Media Valle del Serchio and the municipalities of Barga, Borgo a Mozzano and Fabbriche di Vallico took part in a regional process aimed at financing projects supporting the development of activities and services offered in the PAAS, paying particular attention to users who have the problem of the digital divided and the need to be involved.
The public authorities have agreed that immigrants are currently the category with the greatest need to be socially involved in the territory.
This website, developed by the Comunità Montana and municipalities, acts as first aid for people in need of information, for example about school, jobs, etc.
Immigrants can contact the PAAS Points to obtain the opening times, addresses and e-mails of the municipal offices and the names of the people to contact in the different offices, in order to make the search as easy and fast as possible.
The public authorities regard this website as being so important that they have decided to publish it also as a link on their own websites, so that all the citizens can look it up.
